The ideas of service and hospitality are not new, but their value is often missed. My passion for giving people more than they expect was recently stirred by Will Guidara, author of the book “Unreasonable Hospitality.” I highly recommend this book to anyone who desires to expand their potential for personal and business success.
We all want to be seen and cared for and to possess a sense of belonging. Excellent service always contains the component of human connection. It is a vital element of showing how we value a person whether they are a client, colleague, or family member. Engaging in human connection is a win-win, benefiting both YOU and the other person. Inherent in our engagements, we find the gift of fulfillment.
No matter what we do in life, no matter the service or product we provide, we can choose to go deeper and be strategically unreasonable in the way we connect and add value to other people. Making our world a better place is a worthwhile adventure!
The joy of my life is living connected to my family, friends and colleagues in ways that nurture their sense of belonging and empowerment. Langley Leadership Group exists to meet these ends and we invite you to connect with us to explore how we can help you grow and advance in ways that are important to you.
